I was a long time fan of Kate Spade, until the Neiman Marcus Group sold the company to Liz Claiborne in 2007. However, after seeing the new fall campaign, I’m pretty convinced that creative director Deborah Lloyd is keeping Kate Spade’s vision alive. See more from the fall campaign on the Facebook fan page.

There have been about ten gazillion tributes to MJ in the um, week or so since his death.

This one is actually rad. Yes, rad.

Studio Brussel has created an eternal moonwalk – a site where users can upload videos of themselves moonwalking and forever be looped into, well, an eternal moonwalk with MJ himself.

Megan Meagher from the NYC office had a fantastic article published in Advertising Age this week…

Marketers love Gen Yers. They’ve got roughly $200 billion in disposable income, and they aren’t afraid to spend it on clothes, designer sneakers, alcohol, fast food, cellphones and video games. I’m familiar with the lackadaisical spending habits of Gen Yers, because I am one, and until last fall, I, too, splurged on things such as a Wii and an iPhone.

But I’m a changed person, thanks to this recession. I eat more meals at home and actually pay attention to the price of groceries. Living on my own for the first time, I find myself buying and using more household products, from dishwasher soap to stain remover.
