As you can see in the video above, which shows a side-by-side comparison of typing on the Omnia II versus on an iPhone, the way you type with Swype is you literally swipe your finger from one letter to the next as fast as you can. In the video, the Swypist beats the iPhone typist hands down, so to speak. But the comparison is more illustrative than definitive.
Swype was created by the inventor of the T9 predictive typing system used on most phones today because he felt that new text input methods for small touchscreens are sorely needed. Today, the startup announced the first phone to use the technology will be the Samsung Omnia II
on Verizon.

Forsman & Bodenfors came up with innovative digital campaign to promote the opening of a new IKEA store in Malmo Sweden. Armed with little media budget, the agency came up with an unconventional Facebook campaign that started with a profile of the store’s manager, Gordon Gustavsson. Gustavsson uploaded pictures of the store’s showrooms to his photo album and any “friends” who tagged the products with their names then won those items.

Rebecca Ward uses meters and meters of tape, woven and interwoven, to create these stunning colourful installations. Can you believe she is only 26. I love how she uses the architectural details. I will never look at a roll of tape the same again.

Great site. Basically it pits women against men. Is there anything that could be more competitive?
The daunting leaderboard watches over everything and adds to the excitement, so does the random commentary and you tube integration. Graphics are simple and clear-the way they should be. I think the best part is that there isn’t a heavy loader (WOW!).
Check it out.
