So I’m sure most of you have heard of Augmented Reality before or at least seen a video on YouTube showcasing some of the cool stuff people are doing with it. Although I’ve seen plenty of demonstrations that leverage A.R. technology it seems that in the last few months some actual USEFUL implementations have been showcased. One of these examples is A.R. business cards. You now have the ability to attach a digital representation of yourself to your business card. The options are limitless e.g. If you’re a video guy you can have the latest version of your demo reel play when a person holds your card in front of a web cam.

I love books. I really do. Thanks to amazon.com, I have piles of them stacked around the house, and ran out of shelf space years ago. I shamelessly admit, that many of them I am drawn to purely because of the cover designs. So in my attempts to downsize my book collection, I follow the following blogs on a weekly basis. Although I can’t say it’s done much to curb how much I spend on books, quite yet.
